Traditionally, there are three types of seasons for travel industry. High, shoulder and low season.

High season is the period of high demand for transportation. How is the high demand created? Mainly it is due to the long school break (mid June to mid September) and long public holiday season (around new year).

How can travellers arrange their trip with lowest possible price? The answer depends on the season of travel. To travel during high season, it is advisable to plan as early as possible.
